Exhibits
2010 was the 125th Commemoration of the Battle of Duck Lake. To provide a lasting legacy the Duck Lake Historical Museum Society created a new exhibit and Commemorative Booklet. The Commemorative Booklet is free to visitors, please ask at the front desk when you come for your visit.
From extensive research the curator was able to find some artifacts within the stored collection that directly pertained to the events and these items are now on display in the new 1885 exhibit.
Here you will see a hand written log book from the Prince Albert Volunteers that discusses daily affairs of the troup from March 1885 - May 1885 including General Middletons troup coming in to the barracks.
See the 1885 uniform complete with Private W.H. Kelly's war medal's from both the Red River Resistance in Manitoba and the 1885 Resistance in Saskatchewan.
Pictures coming soon.
